Hello and welcome to the foolish tree!

What is a “foolish tree”?

The classic fool is someone who can fly
because he doesn’t know it’s impossible.

The foolish tree grows whatever it wants because
we who tend it prefer to believe that anything is possible!

“We” are Jo Nemoyten and Ian Carruthers, the very dignified married couple who are owner/operator/cook and bottle washers of the foolish tree. One of them does not usually wear those glasses and one rarely wears hats while the other makes a habit of it. For more information about us, click on that crazy picture.

foolish tree is at the “root” of everything we do. Here’s a little nutshell description of our various branches and what type of fruit they bare:

• foolish tree films is our primary business. Contact foolish tree if you have an event, a performance, a promo or other type of videography or promotional film project that you need a pro to capture.

• foolish tree productions is the branch where we work on our own original projects. Visit the other items on the menu to find out more about our many exciting projects and how you can be a part of the process. We are currently working on “Loaded Paradise” – a short film written by Ian, editing a book of short stories by The Horn Man and also looking at ways to fund a Horn Man documentary, for which we already have many hours of footage.
